Jamie E. Roberson Services for Jamie E. Roberson will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverends Marvin Cooper and Ray Fulcher officiating. Burial will be at Water Valley Pentecostal Church, in Roberson Memorial Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Roberson, age 88, of Meridian, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Anderson Regional Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of Water Valley Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Roberson, of Meridian, who he was married to for 68 years, his children, Jimmy Roberson and Betty Clark of Meridian, and Anita Whittington and Frankie Beckham of Carthage, a sister, Hazel Smith, two brothers, Clyde Roberson, and Horace Roberson, eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, one sister, four brothers, a grandson, and a granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Larry Roberson, Terry Roberson, Thomas Roberson, Ranny Abston, Buddy Harper, and Harry Beckham. Honorary Pallbearers include James Ford, C.C. Roberson, and Ben Dearman.
