Jane Elizabeth Reeves Donald Services for Jane Elizabeth Reeves Donald will be held Monday, March 21, 2011, at 11:30a.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, with Dr. John Temple officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Donald, age 75, of Meridian died Friday, March 18, 2011, at her residence. Jane was born in Oil City, Louisiana, June 21, 1935. At the death of her parents she moved to Shubuta, MS at the age of 8 to live with her aunt and uncle, the late Horace and Opal Green. She has been a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church since 1960. She worked as a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Melvin Howard Donald, of Meridian, her three children, Travis Donald and his wife Nancy, of Meridian, Sabrina Donald Cook and her husband Johnny, of Quitman, Jonathan Donald, of Lauderdale, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mark Donald, Adam Donald, Miles Donald, Shaun Gibbs, Evan Curry, and Steve Slade. The family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church Building Fund. Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2011, from 10:30 until 11:30a.m. at the church.
