Janette Morgan Watson

Funeral services for Janette Morgan Watson will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Glenn Jackson and Jimmie Smithey officiating. Burial will follow at Meridian Memorial Park with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Watson, age 96, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Meridian.

Janette spent 28 years as an administrative assistant at the former Holiday Inn South, where she received several awards. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include: son, Larry Benford Watson (Carol); daughter, Janis Lynn Watson; granddaughter, Amy Watson Burns (Clarke); great grandchildren, Anderson Burns and Emma Burns; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Benford “Ben” Watson; parents, Thomas Walter and Sarah Elizabeth Morgan; brothers, Raymond Levi Morgan and Johnnie Morgan; and sister, Gurtis “Sis” Davenport.

The family request memorials be made to the Shoebox Ministry, Central Baptist Church, 2511 C Street, Meridian, MS 39302.
