Ms. Janice M. Blakey, age 83, of Meridian by way of Ozark, Alabama passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.

She retired from Dale County Public Library in Ozark, AL moved to Meridian, MS to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Glardon (Dale) and  Michael Blakey; grandchildren, Linda Glardon, and Josh Glardon (Hannah); niece and nephew, Tammy Robson and John Robson; brother, Sonny Mills; great-nieces and nephews, Shane Mills, T.J. McCoy and Gabby McCoy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Blakey; sisters, Jean Robson and Linda Mills; parents, J.R. and Gladys Mills.
