Janis Boatner

A graveside service for Mrs. Janis Boatner will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with Bro. Jerry Johnson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Boatner 68, of Meridian passed away on May 28, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Boatner was a faithful Christian, and she attended Cathedral Assembly of God. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Gary Boatner; child, Dana Massey (Chuck); grandchildren, Katelyn Shirley, Aaron Shirley, Corey Massey (Brantley), Christian Massey (Rachel), Cayden Massey; one great-grandchild, Paxton Smith; her sister-in-law, Martha Skinner (David); brother-in-law, William “Bill” Boatner (Peggy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, J.T. and Hazel Smith and one brother, Jackie Wayne Smith (Darlene).
