Janis Harding Combest Services for Janis Harding Combest will be held, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Sephus Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Combest, 74, of Meridian, died Friday, August 19, 2011, at Bedford Care Center. She retired from Anderson Hospital and Tulane Dermatology. Survivors include daughter Jenny Canterbury and husband Joseph of Collinsville, son Jack Combest and wife Lynn of Meridian, granddaughter Joely McDaniel of Jackson, sister-in-law Martha Broadhead and husband Norris of Meridian, Diane Hudnall and husband Wally of Meridian, and Nell Finnegan of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Combest, Sr., sister Jackie Liddle and brother Jimmy Harding, daughter-in-law's Mary Alice Massingill and husband Joe, Joyce Thompson, and brother-in-law J. A. Finnegan.
