Jason William Butts

Jason Butts, age 49, of Meridian passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at his residence. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Jason was born on November 24, 1976 in Las Vegas. He had an infectious personality - always lighting up the room with laughter. He loved animals, and being with his family was his passion. He will be remembered as a compassionate father, brother, son, and friend.

Survivors include his daughters, Tori Butts and Cherish Butts; grandchildren, Grayson Rushing, Julian Holifield, and Melani Lesnak; siblings, Crystal Butts, Chelsey Butts, Christian Branning (Bethany), Cara Thacker (Clyde), and Cayley Hunt (Ethan); father-figure, Richard Branning; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and Audey Mac Butts and his grandmother, Helen Cavlier.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to East Mississippi Animal Rescue.
