Jeanette Wells Clearman

Graveside services for Jeanette Wells Clearman will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Richard Wallace officiating with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jeanette Clearman, age 87, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.

She worked as a beautician for most of her life, volunteering her services for hospice patients following her own husband’s passing. She was an avid gardener and always growing something beautiful. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church for many years, and a faithful servant to her Lord Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank the staff at Poplar Springs Nursing Center for the care and love she received during her stay there.

Survivors include her son, Herman Clearman, Jr., and wife Brenda, of Decatur; daughter, Janet Taylor and husband Fred, of Danville, IL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Miriam Bradley and Margaret McCrary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Clearman, Sr., sister, Gwen Clearman, and brothers, Rudolph Wells, Rufus Wells, Olen Wells, and Walter Wells.
