Jeffrey Bryan Carmichael Services for Jeffrey Bryan Carmichael will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with Reverend Marvin Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Carmichael, 53, of Meridian died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He worked as a security guard with Peavey Electronics. Jeff loved life and loved his family dearly and will be remembered as a kind and gentle spirit. Also, he was loved dearly by his family and friends and will always be remembered by that special laugh. Jeff was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include his brothers, David "Ricky" Carmichael and wife Becky of Celera, Alabama, and Raymond "Terry" Carmichael and wife Kim of Meridian' sisters, Patti Pena of Meridian and Pam Byrnes, husband and very special brother-in-law Patrick of Meridian; numerous special nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews and special cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, David Carmichael; mother, Bonnie Ruth Carmichael; sister, Cathy Brogan, brother, Ira Douglas Carmichael, wife, Cathy Carmichael. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be James Hardy, Carney Dearing, Art Taylor, Allen Branning, Harold McGee and Terry Shirley.
