Jeffrey Scott Vance

Graveside services for Mr. Jeffrey Scott Vance will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2025, in at Calvary Cemetery in Jordan, MN. Interment will follow graveside rites at Calvary Cemetery. Ballard – Sundar Funeral Home and Robert Barham Family Funeral Home are honored to have been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Vance, 56, of Meridian, died Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Meridian, MS following a brief illness.

Born in 1968, Jeffrey, better known as Scott, was a devoted father, proud grandfather, son, and brother. Scott worked for the City of Meridian Public Works Department for 25 years before retiring. Scott was a steadfast friend whose kindness and humor touched everyone around him. Though he is no longer with us, Scott’s spirit remains in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Scott is survived by his mother, Sandra Edgar Vance; his father, Wallace Ray Vance (Lynn); his sons, Justin Vance (Marissa) and Jeffrey Vance; granddaughter, Violet Vance; his siblings, Steven Lee Vance and Christi Vance (Keith Markun); as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Mr. Vance is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Arlie Dee Edgar; and his maternal grandfather, William Adam Edgar.

The Vance suggests memorials be made to Ballard – Sunder Funeral Home, 104 1st Street W Jordan, MN 55352.

Pallbearers will be Justin Vance, Jeffrey Vance, Keith Markun, and Cash Markun.

The Vance Family will receive guests from 1:00 PM until service time at Ballard- Sundar Funeral Home, 104 1st Street W, Jordan, MN 55352.
