Jennifer Renee Harper Services for Jennifer Renee Harper will be held Thursday June 9, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Brother Gilbert Eaves officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Ms. Harper, 29, of Columbus, Mississippi died June 6, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and a 1999 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School. Survivors include Kenny Brown and their son, Hunter Brown, father and stepmother, Randy and Tammie Harper, mother Debra Harper, brother Jonathan Harper, paternal grandmother Patricia Harper, maternal grandmother Geraldine Lay and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by both grandfathers, Rex Harper and Bobby Lay. Pallbearers will be Lucky Underwood, Brian Lay, Adam Brown, Chris Dial, Justin Dial and Matthew Dial. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Kidney Foundation.
