Jenoise White Graveside services for Jenoise White will be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Chaplain John Sweeney officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Miss White, age 93, of Meridian, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at James T. Champion Nursing Facility. She was born in Kemper County in the Keytown Community on July 28, 1921 to the late Manez Darnell White and Hanan Gaines White. She graduated from Meridian High School in 1939 and Meridian Junior College in 1941. She worked for the FBI in Washington DC during World War II. She was a lifelong member of Highland Baptist Church and served as the church secretary for 22 years. She retired from EMEPA as an accounting clerk. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Holland White Smith; nephew, Major Richard Wayne Smith, U.S. Army (Ret.); niece, Dr. Diana Smith Barrett and husband Dr. Bruce Barrett; great-nephew, David Michael Barrett; and great-niece, Elizabeth Holland Barrett. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gaines Dorsett White and Leila Bell Swearingen; maternal grandparents, Reverend J.T. Darnell Sr. and Roxana Holland Davis Darnell; and brother-in-law E. Wayne Smith.
