Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Glenn Smith will begin at 11:30 am Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Hack McMullan officiating and service music provided by Bro. Jerry Murphy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Smith, 65, of Quitman, MS passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.

Mr. Jerry was a Huge fan of Alabama Crimson Tide; he also enjoyed spending time boating, fishing and most of all spending time with family and friends. He was affectionately known as “Pawpaw” by his grandchildren. Mr. Jerry was a nationally certified electrician and enjoyed teaching the trade to many students over 20 years; while also working for D.A.R.T. container company.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Beth Smith; daughters, Meagan Breaux and Katie Walker Keen (Josh); grandchildren, Jacob, Katrien, Kailey, Ryan, Cally and Shelly. Brother, Ken Walker; sister, Barbara Nell Fowler Walker, Brother in law, John Holland (Carole). Uncle Marcel Sizemore; Aunt Gaye Drake as well as numerous extended family members and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sizemore and Stella Sizemore Oswald.

The family request memorials be made to The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association or to The Uganda Mission Fund at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until service time at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
