Jerry Jean Jordan, Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Jerry Jordan Jr. will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Dr. Bart Latner III officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM prior to services.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Jerry Jean Jordan, Jr., age 76, of Meridian, MS passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Ochsner Rush Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Jerry was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, American Legion Post 125, 40 and 8 La Societe, and Special Forces Association. He retired from the Meridian Police Department and the U.S. Army Special Forces. He was also a Mason, a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and was a member of the Blue Knights International LE Motorcycle Club. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cathy Jordan, children; Jennifer Gentry, Jerry “Bubba” Jordan, Jr2, (Kimberly), and Kimberly Jordan, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters; Yvette Hall of Chipley, FL and Yvonne Jordan of New Orleans, LA, and several extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Sr. and Norma Jordan, and brother, Charles Jordan.
