Jerry Melton, Jr.

Funeral services for Jerry Melton, Jr. will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Souenlovie Baptist Church in Enterprise, Mississippi, with Brother Scott Crenshaw officiating.  Burial will follow at Enterprise Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Melton, 14, of Enterprise, passed away January 1, 2016, at his home.

Jerry loved reading and enjoyed archery, but above all enjoyed spending time with his family.  He loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing.  Jerry was very loving and often asked, “Can I have a hug?”  He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father, Jerry Melton, Sr.; sisters, Ariel Melton and Codi Melton; paternal grandparents, Orville and Betty Smith; nephew, Canaan Quinn; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nesha Melton.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
