Funeral services for Jewel H. Brown will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Feirtag officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Ms. Jewel Brown, age 97, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her children, Vaughn H. Brown and Suzanne Trammell (Terry); grandchildren, Allison Wright (Allen) and Tiffany McKinley (Scott); great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Britt, Jordan Wright, Parker Britt, Caleb Wright, and Logan Wright; brother, William Winstead; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Brown, Jr.; her parents; and one sister, Peggy Joyce Baucum.

Pallbearers will be Allen Wright, Jordan Wright, Wayne Gordy, Paul Baucum, Clayton Cody, and L.C. Rutledge.
