Jewell enjoyed working with the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Distribution Center in Atlanta each year as long as her health permitted. After moving, she enjoyed caring for her family and along with her husband, James, they taught Sunday School at State Blvd Baptist Church. After retirement they enjoyed working on their farm in Leake County and traveling to see family and friends. She was a talented cook and was renowned for her Caramel and Strawberry Cakes. She also loved tending to her flower gardens and caring for her yard. She will be remembered for her strength and dedication to her Lord, Church, Family, and friends.
