Jim Myrick

A committal service for Mr. Jim Myrick will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Mississippi Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Newton. Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy Funeral Honor Detail. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Myrick, age 73, of Meridian passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Diversicare of Meridian.

Jim was born on June 24, 1952 in Indiana to the late James Myrick and Elizabeth Fuller. After graduating from high school, Jim enlisted in the United States Navy, honorably serving his country during Vietnam War. He was also a member of the VFW. He worked for many years as a Radio Broadcaster at WMOX and WMER, and was a proud member of the Meridian community.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Hoyt; grandchildren, Veda and Sabry Roberts; two sisters, Karan Tremblay and Audrey Fuller; one brother, Travis K. Fuller, Jr.; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Harriet Risher, Sandra Myrick, and Jeffery Myrick.
