Jimmie El Vita Minor Services for Jimmie El Vita Minor will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 10:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Church of God Cemetery. Mrs. Minor 72, of Meridian, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Ms. Minor was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church at Bonita. Unable to attend church services for some time, she studied her Bible and watched church services on TV. Her Christianity was evident in her daily life. Ms. Minor was a retired bookkeeper. Survivors include her son, Reverend Bradley E. Smith and his wife Betty of Laurel; daughter, Layne Long and her husband Buster of Meridian; step-children, Walter Minor and his wife Angie of Little Rock, MS, David Minor and his wife Teresa, Sheila Mayo and her husband David of Meridian; grandchildren, Michael Duke, Shay Duke, Landon Duke and his wife Marcie, Crystal White and her husband Jamie, Matthew Smith, Meribeth Smith, Bridget Cole and her husband Jason, Rusty Minor, Kristi Denton, Danielle Minor, Katie Small, Kelly Minor, Scott McKenzie, Rachel Cassagne and her husband Craig, Brooklyn Mayo, Brianna Mayo, Tyler Robinson; great-grandchildren, Colin Duke, Paxton Duke, Taylor Sims, Shelby Sims, Aubrey Denton, Colter and Juliana Cassagne, Lanna Duke, Steven Duke; her brother Raymond A. Fountain, niece, Sheri Rush, nephew, Larry Fountain and many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dixie Keen McKenzie; parents, Roby and Raymond E.
