Graveside services for Jimmie Rutledge will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at Gum Log Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Chuck Sanders officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Rutledge, age 69, of Bailey, passed away January 8 at Rush Hospital.

Jimmie was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Army for three years. He retired from Sanders Heat and Air after thirty-five years of dedicated service. He was a beloved husband, father, and PawPaw who dearly loved his family.

Jimmie is survived his wife of fifty-years, Myrtis Rutledge; children, Angie (Thomas) Upchurch and Dee (Chris) McIlwain; and grandchildren, Cody (Jessie) Upchurch, Clay Upchurch, Paige McIlwain, and Myranda McIlwain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Ruth Rutledge; brother, Dennis Rutledge and sister, Linda Rutledge.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Upchurch, Chris McIlwain, Jeff Warren, Jeff Scarbrough, Cody Upchurch and Clay Upchurch.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. and from 10a.m.-11:00a.m. prior to service at the funeral home.
