Jimmy Wayne Gressett Funeral services for Jimmy Wayne Gressett will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mark Lawson officiating. Burial services will follow at the MS Veterans Memorial Cemetary in Newton at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Gressett, 67, passed away July 2, 2015. Jimmy was a retired engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He served in the US Army and was a vietnam veteran. Jimmy was a very loving and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He loved spending time with his 2 great grandsons, Kayden and Mason. Jimmy loved spending time at the river with family and friends. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Darlene Gressett; daughter, Renee (Kevin) McCoy, his son Josh Gressett, his sister; Jean (Tom) Edwards ,his brother Stanley (Glenda) Gressett, his grandchildren; Brittany(Jacob) Davis, Kaitlyn Ford, Justin McCoy, Jessica McCoy, and his great grandchildren, Kayden Davis and Mason McCoy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Faye Gressett and daughter, Tina Ford. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00-7:00pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
