Joe C. Crumbley Services for Joe C. Crumbley will be held Thursday June 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Enterprise United Methodist Church, with Reverends Phillip Dearman, Taylor Wallace, and Charles Waddell officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Crumbley, 79, of Enterprise died Monday June 27, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired Pharmacist. He was in the US Army Medical Unit in 1949 after Ellisville High and Jr. College graduation. He attended the University of Mississippi from 1952- 1955 where he received his Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. He married Billie Rose Craft in 1953 in Oxford, MS. They have been married for 58 years. Mr. Crumbley moved to Enterprise with family in 1961 to open and operate Crumbley Drug Store for 47 years with his old school friend Dr. James C. Graham. Mr. Crumbley attended Enterprise United Methodist Church for 50 years where he served as Chairman on the Board for 25 years. He was also a troop leader for Boy Scouts of America and awarded five boys their Eagles Scout rank. One of the Eagle Scouts being his son, Greg Crumbley. Survivors include his spouse, Bille Rose Craft Crumbley of Enterprise, four children, Donna Goodin and her husband, Terry of Millport, AL, Terri Morris and her husband, Bo, of Memphis, TN, Greg Crumbley of Shalimar, FL, Joey Crumbley and his wife, Angie of Florence, AL, one sister, Mary Walker, of Winston-Salem, NC, eight grandchildren, Brandy Allen and her husband, Chad, Alan, Bryan, and Rose Marie Goodin, Brandon Crumbley and his wife, Natalie, Collin and Quinn Crumbley, Jacky Blurton, four great grandchildren, Blane and Dylan Allen, Mason Goodin, Austin Blurton, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Cook Crumbley, father, Bura Joseph Crumbley, great-grandson, Hunter William Allen and his favorite friends, T.C. & Scarlet. Pallbearers will be Chad Allen, Alan Goodin, Bryan Goodin, Brandon Crumbley, Collin Crumbley and Eddie Ivy. The family requests memorials be made to March of Dimes or American Heart Association. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service Thursday at Enterprise United Methodist Church.
