Joe H. Mclain

Funeral services for Joe H. McLain will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Dan Lanier officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. McLain, age 83, of Meridian, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018, at Regency Hospital.

Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Winn Dixie for 47 years and was an avid Alabama fan. Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by: wife, Jean McLain; daughters, Paula Flynn (Donnie), Michelle Moseley (Charles), Sheila Ballard (Keith) and Missy Slatton (Zach); grandchildren, Brandon Moseley (Missy), Will Moseley (Heather), Brian Flynn, Bruce Flynn and Stella Slatton; great grandchildren, James Moseley and Mia Moseley; sister, Navona Whetstone; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: mother, Stella McLain and brothers, Everette Guyton, Elmer McLain and Ray Williams.

The family request memorials be made to Wounded Warriors and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
