John Wesley Blythe, Sr. Services for John Wesley Blythe, Sr will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at 11:00 a. M. at Robert Barham family Funeral home with Dr. Dan Lanier, Dr. Malcolm Lewis, Revs., Paul Davis and Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Blythe, 74, of Meridian died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Blythe served as a bi-vocational minister for 30 years and also co-managed Foodmax and A& P grocery stores. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church. He loved all he met and all he met loved him. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lola Faye Blythe, Sons, John Blythe, Jr.(Joan) of Meridian, Jack Blythe, (Sharon)of Chunky, Kevin Todd Blythe (Rhonda) of Russell, daughter-n-law, Julia Blythe, of Meridian; Grandchildren, Lola D. Brand, Kay Pearson, Allie Blythe, Kevin Wesley Blythe, Sherri Blythe, Joel Griffith, Dennis Bracken, Jr., Melissa Bracken, Jamie Chaney, Jeff Chaney, Eliza Barham, Amanda Saunders, 7 great grandchildren,Brothers, Billy Blythe (Louise) of Snyder, TX, Wayne Blythe (Sandra) of Hawthorne, OK, sisters, Grace Ainsworth (Keith) of Snyder, TX, Pat Robinson (Danny) of Neosha, MO, Carla Matthews , of Snyder, TX, Mary Perez, (Peppe) of Snyder, TX, sister-n-law, Rose Blythe, Rockdale, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sons, Jerry Blythe and Kerry Max Blythe, parents, William & Ohma Blythe and a brother, Van Earl Blythe.
