John Lack Carney, II
Graveside services for Mr. John Carney, II will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Bailey Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with Rev. Eric Mabbott officiating.
Mr. Carney, age 47, of Dallas passed away, Tuesday, September 5 at Dallas Medical Center.
Mr. Carney was born and raised in Meridian. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Deborah Carney; two stepdaughters, Sarah Elizabeth Hughes and Ayesha Camille Hughes; mother, Dawn Covington Carney of Meridian; sister, Jessica Carney (Adrian) Smith of Jackson; niece, Olivia Ansley Smith of Jackson; nephews, Luke Russell Smith and Samuel Covington Smith both of Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lack Carney, I; maternal grandparents, Jesse David and Peggy Gibson Covington; paternal grandparents, Ansley Powell and Clarice Temple Carney.
The family request memorials be made to Palmer Home for Children in Columbus, MS.
