John Robert Davis Services for John Robert Davis will be held Wednesday April 4, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Dan Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Davis 52, of Meridian passed away Saturday March 31, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center after suffering a heart attack. He loved his children and grandchildren and loved to spend time with each of them. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church and graduate of Northeast High School. He worked with Tower Automotive and worked for Ludlow for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and golf. He is survived by his daughter Kara L. Dowling, husband Brandon, of Meridian; sons, Clinton Davis, of Meridian and Marshall Davis of Meridian, stepdaughter; Megan Eubanks, husband Jeremy, of Pearl, stepson; Dylan Lawson, of Pearl; grandchildren, Lanie Dowling and Brandon S. Dowling, Jr. ; mother Ruth Davis of Meridian; brother Richard Davis, wife Betty, of Meridian; sister Alicia Edwards, husband Jeff, of Katy, TX, ; brother James Davis, wife Mayme, of Anderson, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Wife; Laura L. Davis, and father Robert D. Davis.
