John William Harrington, Jr.

Graveside Services for Mr. John William Harrington will begin at 2:30 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Porterville, MS with Reverend Gerald Chaney officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Harrington, 87, of Gulfport, died Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Johnny worked for many years in the electrical supply business. He began his career with Southern Pipe and Southern Electric Supply, and worked for Monte Electric and was currently employed with Chancellor Electric. Johnny was a lifetime member at Pass Christian Isles Golf Course.

Mr. Harrington is survived by his wife of 52 years, Audette; children Sherry Chaney, Lisa Webb (Mark), Kathryn Rust (Bob), and Andy Barnhill (Tracy); grandchildren Allyson Butler (Travis), Brock Chaney (Brittney), Cameron Rust (Andrea), Nikki Harrington, Halle Winstead, Drew Barnhill, and Baylee Barnhill; 11 great-grandchildren; his close cousin, Gloria Kelly, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Mr. Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, John William Harrington, Sr. and Marian Randall Harrington; his son, John William Harrington, III; his grandson, John William Harrington, IV; and close cousins, Jean Torrance and Jan Keating.

Pallbearers will be Brock Chaney, Cameron Rust, Baylee Barnhill, and Travis Butler.
