John Phillip Johnson Services for John Phillip Johnson will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011at 11:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Earley officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Johnson, 42, of Meridian, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the University Medical Center. He was employed with the United Blood Service. Mr. Johnson was dearly loved and will be missed by his family and a host of friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff at the University Medical Center, especially Kim, Amanda and Lee of the SIC Unit. Survivors include his children, Amber Smith and her husband Larry of Meridian, Eryn Miller of Birmingham, AL, Madalynn Johnson and Haylea Johnson both of Union City, TN; parents, Ken and Layne Johnson of Meridian; sister, Kathy Gilmore and her husband Karl of Pearl,MS; brother, James Johnson and his wife June of Niceville, FL; sister, Karen Pierce and her husband Jason of Meridian; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Johnson; infant son, Zackary Chase Johnson.
