John H. Keyes Graveside services for John H. Keyes will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 24, 2013 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Keyes, 76, of Meridian, died Sunday December 22, 2013 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Meridian Junior College where he was a much loved counselor to many students. He was a member of 15th Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Russelyn Keyes, of Meridian; his sons Greg Keyes and his wife, Nell, of Savannah, GA and Tim Keyes and his wife, Gwen, of Huntsville, AL. Step children Randy Sharman and his wife, Gina, of Meridian, Rusty Sharman and his wife, Lisa, of Birmingham, Al and Sandra Dennis of Meridian. Grandchildren: Danielle Keyes of Huntsville AL, Archer and Nella Keyes of Savannah GA, Abby Dennis of Meridian, Jamey Sharman of Nashville, TN, Emily Sharman, of Birmingham, AL, Sarah Sharman of Augusta, GA. Siblings: Harold Keyes, Nell Wright and Betty Barber of Meridian and Emily Alger and her Husband William of Houston, TX. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Prentiss Keyes and Mable B. Keyes and by three siblings Mary Alice Skelton, Cecelia Woodham and Prentiss Keyes. Pallbearers: Rusty Sharman, Randy Sharman, Randall George, Randy Evans, Tyler Harper and Joey Poe. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: James T.
