John Samson

Mr. John Samson, age 84, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at his home. He was born September 6, 1936 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK possessing a dual citizenship in U.S.A. and U.K.

John graduated from Schenley High School in Pittsburgh, PA and in 1969, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He worked in the industrial metal panel industry and was one of the founders of Benchmark Industries. He will be truly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife Martha Ann Samson of Meridian, MS; children, Scott J. Samson (Rena) of Gulf Shores, AL, and Steven John Samson (Jessica) of Ashburn, VA; grandchildren, Scott Andrew Samson and John Stephen Samson; step-grandchildren, Tara and Leo Wilkerson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Samson.
