Funeral services for Mr. John F. Smith, Jr. will begin Thursday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Shoemaker officiating.  Burial will follow at Bucatunna Baptist Church Cemetery.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. John F. Smith, Jr., age 91, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019.

Mr. Smith was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and served his country during World War II.  He was retired from the Flintkote Company (now Owens Corning).

Mr. John F. Smith is survived by his daughter, Judith McAllister; his son, Scott Smith (Darrell); his grandson, Steven McAllister (Lorey); and great grandchildren, Ava, Gabby, and Charli.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Smith; his siblings, J.T., Odell, James, Willard, Alvin, Geather, and Mae Tucker; his wife, Glenda; and son-in-law, Steve McAllister.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with the Mississippi Burn Foundation, 1850 Chadwick Drive, Jackson, MS 39204.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service.
