Johnnie D. Foreman Services for Johnnie D. Foreman will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmie Garrard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Foreman, 79, of Meridian, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at his residence. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. Mr. Foreman worked 47 years with General Electric as a service technician. He was employed with the Corp of Engineers in Demopolis, AL. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Agatha Foreman; daughters, Janet L. Jones and her husband Douglas, Donna J. Foreman; grandchildren, Buck Jones and his wife Leslie, Jeffery Daniel Foreman and his wife Lindsey; great-granddaughter, Avery Lynn Foreman; sister, Joyce Ivy; brother, Alton D. Foreman; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons Johnnie Keith Foreman and Jeffery D. "Flash" Foreman; parents, Johnnie Jefferson and Emma Caldwell Foreman. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests memorials be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Buck Jones, Jeffery Daniel Foreman, Scott Stuart, Gilbert Frazier, Artie Foremen and Mark Dean.
