Johnnie Sue Morgan Davis Butler

A graveside service for Johnnie Sue will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Toomsuba Cemetery with Dr. John Temple officiating, with burial to follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Ms. Johnnie Sue, age 83 of Meridian passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Ochsner Rush Health.

Johnnie Sue was a loving mother of two sons. Some of the things she enjoyed the most was reading, playing Bridge, shopping, and taking care of her plants. She was known for her quick wit and hilarious sense of humor she was always fun to be around. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Daryl Davis (Sally) and Dale Davis (Vivianne); grandchildren, Taylor Ann Davis Fears (Tyler), John Morgan Davis, Dustin Davis (Courtney), Sarah Davis, and Hannah Davis; six great-grandchildren; brother, Sydney Morgan (Margie); sister-in-law, Louie Morgan; brother-in-law, Roger Giroux; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Lonnie Davis and her late husband Clarence R. Butler; parents, J.L. and Dee Morgan; siblings, Duaine Morgan, Philip Morgan (Mildred), Dennis Morgan (Judy), and Jonell Giroux.

The family would like to express their gratitude for their loving care for Ms. Johnnie Sue provided by Terri Adams, her beloved friend.
