Johnny Gerald Crocker, Jr.

Mr. Johnny Crocker, Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully at Anderson Hospital in Meridian on Friday, October 12, 2018.  Funeral services will begin Monday, October 15, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Lannis May officiating. Interment will follow at Tinnin Cemetery following services.

Mr. Crocker was born July 19, 1956 in Meridian, Mississippi. He graduated from Northeast High School and Meridian Junior College and attended the University of Southern Mississippi.  He worked for EMEPA as a field technician.  Johnny enjoyed fishing and hunting in earlier years.  He cherished time spent with family, especially around the holidays.  He was particularly proud of his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Crocker is survived by his mother, Nova Crocker; his siblings, Derek Crocker (Laura Lee), Lorri Tonya Cullum (David); his nieces and nephews, Keith Cullum (Valerie), Kody Cullum, Conner Cullum, Emma Claire Crocker, and Abby Crocker; and a great-niece, Madalyn Grace Cullum.

Mr. Crocker was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Gerald Crocker, Sr. and an infant brother, Gregory Seals Crocker.

Pall bearers were Keith Cullum, Kody Cullum, Conner Cullum, Dudley Tisdale, Scott Tisdale, and David Tisdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with the Benevolence Fund at the Cancer Center at Anderson Memorial Hospital.

The family would like to thank the staff at Harper’s Hospice and Anderson Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 until service time at the funeral home, Monday October 15, 2018.
