Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Dale Jackson will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be at Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Jackson, age 67, of Meridian passed away Sunday, February 12th, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Jackson was a graduate of Meridian High School. He served in the MS Air National Guard, and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He retired from Smith Bakery as a Production Supervisor, and was an avid hunter and a member of the Big Horn Hunting Club.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Debbie Jackson; one daughter, Jennifer Nelson and her husband, David, of Little Rock, Mississippi; one son, Kevin Jackson, and his wife, Patty, of Picayune, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Emily, Garret, Natalie, and Lacie Nelson, Jacob and Joshua Jackson with baby girl Jocelyn Jackson to arrive in May; sisters, Shirley McMahan and husband, Hayes, of Union, Mississippi, Kathy Polizzi of Meridian; brother, Joe Jackson and wife, Sue, of Meridian; many nieces and nephews, and his special four-legged companion, Buttons.

He was preceded in death by his parents Van and Pearl Jackson of Meridian; brother-in-law, George Polizzi of Meridian.

Pallbearers will be Chris Lafferty, Greg Riley, Mike McMahan, Darrell Rowzee, Tony Polizzi, Bryan McMahan, Jody Chaney, Sonny Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Stevens, Larry Pate, Glen Dees, and the m embers of the Big Horn Hunting Club.
