Johnny Price Jones Funeral services for Johnny Price Jones will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Jones, age 88, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born and raised in Shubuta, Mississippi. Mr. Jones was an active member of Central Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II Pacific Campaign. He was also in the occupation forces in Japan and then served in the Korean War. Survivors include his daughter, Shirley J. Smith and husband, Alex; grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Allison Eastridge, and John Richard Smith; great grandchildren, Price Gray and Samantha Eastridge; sister-in-law, Joanne Hopper and husband, George; brother-in-law, Cliff Partridge and wife, Marlyn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen C. Jones and parents, Tempie and John Jones. The family request memorials be made to Central Baptist Church.
