Jonathan Fontain Hester Visitation for Jonathan Fountain Hester will be held at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in Meridian starting from noon until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 2015. Mr. Hester, 56, died in Gautier, MS, on Thursday March 19, 2015 surrounded by his family while under Hospice Care. Jonathan was born in Meridian, MS on January 11, 1959, to Elizabeth and Leo Hester. Jonathan was raised in the Clarkdale community south of Meridian, and attended Clarkdale School where he graduated from high school. He attended Mississippi State University, graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jon was devoted to his family and friends but especially to his wife, Melissa and daughters, Chasitie and Memori. He found great joy and comfort in being with them and just enjoying their presence. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth F. Hester of Biloxi, MS; wife, Melissa Hester of Verbena, AL; daughters, Chasitie Hester of Charlotte, NC and Memori Hester of Verbena, AL; sister, Marian Trigg (Don Trigg) of Gautier, MS; brother, David Hester (Helen Hester) of Billings, MT; niece, Donna Worsham of Gautier, MS; nephew, Troy Trigg (Lindsey Trigg) of Gautier MS; niece Dr. Maria Hester Jones (Jake Jones) of Little Rock, AR; nephew Jonathan Hester of Little Rock, AR; and several grandnieces and grandnephews and many cousins.
