Joseph L. Blanks, Jr. Services for Joseph L. Blanks, Jr. will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church with Reverend Marvin Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Blanks, age 56, of Causeyville, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Causeyville. He was a lifelong resident of Causeyville Community where he was member of Causeyville Baptist Church and also attended Bethany Baptist Church. He formerly worked with Maples Gas and later worked for himself in the logging industry. Survivors include his son, Johnny Blanks of Causeyville; daughter, Rebecca Blanks of Causeyville; nephew, Ron Warbington; and nieces, Bridget Davidson and Amanda Pugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Dorothy Blanks; and sister, Judy Blanks. Pallbearers will Charles Downey, Jimmy Henry, Johnny Hughes, Ron Warbington, Robert Bunyard, Lester "Jr." Ivy, and Jimmy Irby.
