Joseph Larry Green Services for Joseph Larry Green will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Reverends Luther Ott and Brian Ponder officiating. Burial will be in Old Octagon Cemetery, Octagon, AL with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Green, 58, of Meridian, died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, South. He was retired from Longs Wholesale. Mr. Green was an avid golfer. He loved the outdoors and was a lifelong University of Alabama football fan. Survivors include his wife Lillian Hinson Green of Meridian; son, Joseph Michael Green and his Fiancé' Amanda Jane Thompson, Huntsville, AL; father, Joseph Cecil Green and step-mother Martha Ezell Green, York,AL; sister, Nancy Pickens and her husband Jack, Vicksburg, MS; step-sister, Diane Duke and husband Sonny, Livingston,AL; step-brother, Johnny Rogers and wife Mary, Dothan,AL; sister-in-law, Deborah Kelly and husband Ron, Saraland, AL; brothers-in-law, Mike Hinson and wife Angela and their daughter Emma, Demopolis, AL, Nollie Hinson and wife Joanna, Octagon, AL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nan Reynolds Green; mother and father-in-law, Jane and Abram A. Hinson. In lieu of flowers and gifts the family request memorials be made to St. Paul's Episopal Church or the ALS Association, 3313 Memorial Parkway S.W., Suite 100, Huntsville, AL 35801. Pallbearers will be Josh Hinson, Abram "Bud" Hinson, Mike Hinson, Christopher Kelly, Rick Kelly, and Joe Green.
