Memorial services for Joey Pompa will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at Bucatunna Baptist Church.  Reverend Paul Trosper will officiate, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Pompa, age 58, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Joey was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Pompa; son, William Joseph Pompa; father, Virgil Dearman; brothers, Michael “Mo” Dearman (Mary), Johnny Dearman (Sandie), and Heath Dearman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janis Dearman; sister, Kimet LeBrun; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Maude Dearman; and maternal grandparents, Willie and Lurline Wells.

Those of you who would like may bring a dish to the church for his surviving spouse and child to take home.
