Joseph James Moran Memorial services for Joseph James Moran will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at First Assembly of God, with Reverend Bob Null officiating. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Moran, 78, of Meridian, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at his residence. He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Mr. Moran was in the 82nd Airborne Division and a Green Beret. Mr. Moran served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margo L. Moran of Meridian; son, Walter R. Moran of Tampa, FL; daughter, Vicki Heath and her husband, Ed of Meridian; brothers, Jim Moran and his wife Sandy of CA , Fritz Moran and his wife Cheryl of MN; sisters, Delores Simonson of MN and Mary Elizabeth Simbeck of ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
