Funeral services for Joseph Edwin Tinsley will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Freeman officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Tinsley, age 67, of Meridian, MS passed away January 2, 2015 at his home. Mr. Tinsley loved the Lord and he loved his family. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his sons. He was employed as a pilot with Southern Pipe & Supply Company for 31 years. Mr. Tinsley was a member of Covenant Life Baptist Church in Collinsville, Mississippi. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Williams Tinsley; sons, Joseph Patrick Tinsley of Brooklyn, New York, Philip Clark Tinsley and his wife, Aubrey of Vail, Colorado; brothers, Bob Tinsley and his wife, Becky of Meridian, Mississippi and Dick Tinsley of Brandon, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Tinsley, Sr. and Mary Tinsley. The family request memorials be made to Covenant Life Church Tabernacle Fund, 1979 Battlefield Road, Collinsville, MS 39325. Pallbearers will be Darrell Gilbert, Jerry Eichelberger, Boyd Williams, and his brothers-in-law David Donnell, Earl Hollingshead, Bill Huff, and George C. (Buddy) Williams.
