Joyce Faye Risher

Mrs. Joyce Faye Risher , age 80, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 due to complications from a stroke.

Mrs. Risher was born in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Harold and Ozelle Purvis on June 2, 1938. She was an x-ray technician before helping with the family business, Purvis Auto Parts, where she was later the owner. After the family business closed, she worked for AutoZone and O'Reilly Auto Parts. She was a lifelong fan of Ole Miss and the New Orleans Saints.

She is survived by her son, Steve Risher . She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Risher will be cremated and there will not be a public memorial service.
