Joyce Shelton

Memorial services for Joyce Shelton will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017, at 3:30 p.m., at New Harvest Church, with Bro. David Deweese officiating.

Ms. Shelton, age 83, of Collinsville, passed away July 13, 2017, at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

Joyce, lovingly referred to as Nana by those who knew her, was a longtime resident of Collinsville. Many would remember her from Culpepper Café where she was known for her fried chicken. She played the piano and taught many children to play as well.

She is survived by her daughters, Ellie Culpepper and her husband, Chad and Valerie Miller and her husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Andrew Culpepper and his wife, Courtney, Jessie Culpepper, Lexi Culpepper, Michael Crumley, Joshua Crumley and his wife, Mariana, and Matt Colvig and his wife, Anna and great-grandchildren, Gustavo, Olivia, and Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Shelton, and her son, Tom Shelton.
