Juanita Ferguson Vaughn Services for Juanita Ferguson Vaughn will be held Friday, May 21, 2010 at 2:30 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Justin Knight officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Vaughn, 84, of Meridian, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Infinity Hospice. She was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church of Marion, the church choir, WMU, and the Northeast Homemaker's Club. Mrs. Vaughn was born and raised in Aberdeen, MS to James Aubrey and Flora Ferguson. Survivors include her children, Gayle Threatt and her husband Victor of Meridian; Janice Vaughn of Meridian; James Michael (Mike) Vaughn and his wife Nina; grandchildren, Claire Threatt of Plano, TX, Vaughn and Callie Threatt of Meridian, Patrick Threatt, Cincinnati, Ohio, Bonnie Smith of Meridian, Troy and Jayme Smith of Meridian, Jason Vaughn of Baltimore, MD, Shannon Brooks of Savannah, GA; great-grandchildren, Sierra and Sabra Brooks; brothers, Leon Ferguson and his wife Joan of Hernando, MS, Bob Ferguson and his wife Musa of Aberdeen,MS; sisters, Doris Gill and her husband Ed of Birmingham, AL, Frances Lippe of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mertis R. (Pete) Vaughn; parents, J.A. and Flora Ferguson; and brother James Carl Ferguson. The family request memorials be made to Marion First Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Russ Ferguson, John Ferguson, David Gressett, Austin Bishop, Kelly Vaughn, and Chad Vaughn.
