Judith "Judi" McMullan Services for Judi McMullan will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of The Mediator, with The Reverend Dr. Helen W. Tester officiating. Burial will be in the church columbarium with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. McMullan, of Meridian, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. McMullan was a very well known designer in the Meridian, Mississippi area and also traveled the world as a designer for Peavey Electronics. Her most recent design job was for Mayor Cheri Barry's office in the new City Hall. Judi was a graduate of Athens High School in Athens, Alabama and went on to obtain a degree in Interior Planning from the School of Architecture at Auburn University. She was a very well known and published designer in the southeast. Survivors include a son Scot McMullan and his wife Lawren of Sikeston, Missouri, her mother Mildred Kubilis of Meridian, Mississippi; two grandchildren Witt and Graham McMullan of Sikeston, Missouri; a sister Carolyn Culp and her husband Robert of Ona, West Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many close and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick" McMullan; two daughters Kristan McMullan and Jamie Blair McMullan and her father John "Jack" Kubilis. The family requests memorials be made to the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 3825 35th Avenue, Meridian, Mississippi 39305.
