Judy Elizabeth McDuffie DuBose Funeral services for Judy Elizabeth DuBose will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Mike Everett officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. DuBose, age 69, of Meridian, passed away Monday, January 7, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She loved her family and friends and was extremely proud them. Mrs. DuBose was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a loveable person and her grandsons were her pride and joy. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ronnie DuBose; daughter, Tina Lynette Melton; grandsons, Joshua Melton and wife, Jessica, Jacob Melton and wife, Donna; sister, Penny Thomas and husband, Ray; nieces and nephews, Diane and Daryl Williams, Reece Williams, Ethan and Hayley Williams, Pat and Rhonda Sanders, Katie and Tony Hogan, Jim and Lisa McDuffie, and Gracie McDuffie; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lamar McDuffie and mother, Ruth McDuffie; brother, Jimmie McDuffie; and sister-in-law, Rita. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
