Justin David "JB" Blanks Funeral service for Justin David "JB" Blanks will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be at Forest lawn Cemetery. "JB", age 27, of Meridian passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at his home. "JB" graduated from Lamar School in 2005 and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2010. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Mississippi State University. "JB" loved to snow ski, kayak and heli ski. Photography was his passion and he was the owner of JB's Photography. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved life and he liked to spend time with his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, David and Rhonda Blanks of Meridian,; brother, Jason Blanks and wife, Larissa; nephew, Wes Laughlin; niece Eleanor Blanks all of Euless, Texas; grandparents, Earl and Betty Pitts of Bonifay, Florida; great-grandmother, Betty Lane; uncles, Ricky Pitts, Eugene Blanks and Steven Perry; aunts, Kathy Neihuss; great-aunt, Reba Rutldege; great-uncle Winfred Crews and Wade Crews and wife, Linda and a host of cousins, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Joanna Crews Perry. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Lucky Dog Retreat, 8569 Hillview Drive, Meridian, MS 39305.
