Karen Lindsey James Memorial service for Karen Lindsey James will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of The Mediator, with The Reverend Charles Floyd, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Columbarium at The Church of The Mediator with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Miss James, 54, of Meridian, died Thursday, August 9, 2012, at her residence. Survivors include her mother Alice James of Meridian; brother Steve James and wife Toni of Illinois; nephew Neil James of Meridian; great nephews and niece Bailey, Riley and Avery James; aunt and uncle Marcia and Terrell Griffis of Meridian; aunt Elizabeth James of Springfield, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father Austin James and nephew Chris James. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to The Church of The Mediator Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 3400, Meridian, MS 39303, The Austin and Alice James Endowment Fund at Meridian Community College or the charity of your choice.
