KK loved her Lord, her family, and her fur-babies. She was especially close to her nieces and nephews. Karen loved nature; she loved boating, kayaking, and running. The beach was her favorite destination to travel to with family and friends. She was full of life and loved to live life to the fullest. Her smile and presence could light up a room, to know her was to love her. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed worshipping and serving the Lord there for over 15 years. Karen was a dedicated Registered Nurse who always advocated for her patients and co-workers.

Karen is survived by her mother, Ann Breland; her partner, Steve Taylor; siblings, Lisa Webb (Ben), Billy Breland, Jr. (Teri), and Brian Cottles (Jodie); nieces, Katie Wright (Caleb), Megan Graham (Dustin), and Mackenzie Breland; nephews, Andrew Breland (Hope), Matthew Breland, and Joey Breland; great-nieces, Breland Graham and Anna-Claire Breland; great-nephew, Michael Wright; her bonus son, Jacob Taylor, as well as aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

Ms. Breland is preceded in death by her father, Billy “Bill” Breland, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Dick and Agnes Garrett; paternal grandparents, Will Breland and Bonnie Massey; and her fur-baby, Dottie.

Pallbearers will be Steve Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Andrew Breland, Dustin Graham, Matt Breland, and Brian Cottles; with Ben Webb and Caleb Wright serving as honorary pallbearers.
